I share my thoughts on testing to help other testers like me.

About Me

In my 17+ years in IT, one thing I have discovered is “Learning never stops”. Every year I have learned something new that I was able to implement in my real life projects. This would be reflected from the plethora of courses I have taken to improve myself which has helped me contribute effectively to teams and growth of the company.

Working for big Fortune 500 companies and collaborating with various roles including Developers, Testers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects and other stakeholders has helped me get a complete understanding of how much effort it takes to release high quality products. I have used agile methodologies to help find defects early in the SDLC and educated teams on the importance of quality. Quality is everyone’s responsibility.

I have experience working across various domains, tools and technologies but my first love has always been for exploring the product to expose vulnerabilities before the customers finds them. I have done this using automation, exploratory testing, heuristic based testing and other approaches I use on a regular basis.

I love sharing my knowledge with other people who want to grow as well. So, I blog on my personal website, have started communities within organisations to share knowledge and I'm always looking for different ways to contribute to the community.

In my spare time I love spending time in my garden. These days I’m trying out square foot gardening and learning how to grow lots of different vegetables. There is nothing like picking your veg right before you cook and eat it. Nothing beats that fresh, vibrant taste!
